Most churches hold a crib and star-making competition. 2) At the stroke of midnight, watch the sky ignite in a flurry of colour and sparkle with Christmas fireworks. 3) The celebrations begin on Christmas Day with people exchanging gifts, lavish buffets and Christmas dances in the evening. 4) Some of the popular Christmas sweets prepared are bebinca, marzipan, dodol, kulkuls, neureos, coconut gonz, bolinhos, milk toffee, kormola, bhath.

 

 

Wedding season and several parties 

December is generally known as the month of weddings in Goa. There are also several parties in Goa which are not just Christmas related. Yes, I’m talking about the EDM festivals. This time, keep a watch for TimeOut 72 which will feature Jason Derulo, Martin Garrix & Wiz Khalifa. It’s 3-day multi-genre music festival capturing hand-picked talent from across the globe. The festival will take place in Vagator from December 27th to 29th 2017.
